Welcome
to our little town on the Eastern Plains. Kit Carson
sits
at the
junction
of Hwy 287, Hwy 40, and Hwy 59 in Eastern Colorado.
Here sits a town with a lot of history and character.
Founded by the Scout - Christopher Houston "Kit
Carson" in 1909, Kit Carson has a rich history
and lots of friendly folks. If you don't live
here - you should! |

We are
still working on trying to get the town's website done.
Anyone
who
has
photos
they would like posted -
either current or old would be much appreciated. Also
information from the churches for their schedules as
well as input on maybe what information we should gather
for the "Our Community" page. Please feel free to look
through the website and if there is information that
